Your privacy matters to us. This notice explains what personal information Wevem collects when you use wevemgoods.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights. Retention Periods

Retention is tied to purpose: transaction data stays for 7 years (tax and warranty), support tickets for 3 years, marketing consent records until you opt out plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again, and technical logs for up to 12 months. After that, we delete or anonymize the data unless we must keep it for a legal claim or a statutory obligation.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only as needed to run our business: with Shopify (platform hosting, checkout and order management); payment processors (Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) and the payment methods you choose) to authorize payments and prevent fraud; shipping carriers and fulfillment partners such as USPS, UPS and FedEx located in the United States, China and the European Union, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order; tracking, email and customer service tools that help us communicate with you; analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta) that process usage data through cookies as described in our Cookie Policy; and authorities or advisers when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights and safety. If the business is sold or merged, customer data may be transferred to the successor under the same commitments.

Purposes of Processing

Your information is used for the purposes for which you gave it and for related purposes you would reasonably expect: fulfilling and shipping orders and keeping you informed about them; answering questions and resolving problems; detecting and preventing fraudulent transactions; meeting our legal and accounting obligations; understanding how the Site is used so we can improve it; and marketing, only where you have agreed or where the law allows us to contact existing customers about similar products, always with an easy way to opt out.

Email Communications

If you subscribe to our newsletter or make a purchase, we may send you promotional emails about products, offers and news from Wevem. Every marketing email identifies us as the sender, includes our postal address (15 Cuttermill Road, Suite 188, Great Neck, NY 11021, United States) and contains an unsubscribe link; opt-out requests are honored within 10 business days, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act, and you will continue to receive transactional emails about your orders. Regardless of the state you live in, you can ask us to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your information (subject to legal retention); receive a portable copy of it; and opt out of marketing, of targeted advertising cookies (on the Cookie preferences page), and of any sale or sharing of your data (we do not sell it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Send requests to info@wevemgoods.com with the subject "Privacy request"; we verify your identity using the email associated with your orders and respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, we explain why and you may appeal by replying to our response. Do Not Track: our Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we honor Global Privacy Control opt-out signals for targeted advertising where technically supported.

How We Protect Your Information

Your data travels over encrypted connections, card payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors so full card numbers never reach us, and only authorized staff can access customer records. We rely on Shopify's security infrastructure for hosting. While we work hard to keep information safe, no system is invulnerable; in the event of a security incident involving your personal information, we will inform you and the authorities in accordance with applicable breach-notification laws.

Children Under 13

We do not sell to or knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). Should we learn that we hold information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we delete it. Parents or guardians who have concerns can reach us at info@wevemgoods.com.

Policy Changes

This policy is reviewed regularly. When we change it, the new version is posted here with a new effective date; significant changes are also communicated by a notice on the Site or by email. We encourage you to check this page from time to time.
