A revelatory experience viewing work by Swiss design legends Armin Hofmann and Josef Müller-Brockmann in 1953 convinced a young John Massey to pursue a career in graphic design. A spirit of idealism and playfulness would come to characterize his own ethos—as well as a love for Helvetica. Designed in 1978, his Action Office 2 Poster—now faithfully reprinted on 100% cotton paper—is a reflection of the sharply defined style Massey brought to communications.
